Extramural Activities!

Children from the age of 3 years may partake in the following activities:

Mixed Martial Arts
R200 per month: The Martial Arts is the best way to train your child to handle his/her aggression. There concentration and their whole muscle tone improves. This activity is first on my list, I recommend it strongly. The children enjoy it and the Dragon Lair team who gives the lessons just know how to work with your children to get the best out of them. They are Christian people and they live their faith.

Little Champs
R110 per month: It includes ball skills, movement and gymnastics. The children are also taught the basic skills for Rugby, Soccer, Golf, etc. This programme is excellent for the children and they receive individual attention. There are never more than 6 children in a group. Jean knows every child and they love her. She quickly notices if a child has a problem and will suggest exercises with which you can help the child or she will refer you to a therapist if necessary.

Ballet and Modern Dancing

R60 each or R110 for both per month: The girls love these activities. They can take only one activity or both. Ansie has been teaching at Wonderland for 8 years and her pupils receive high marks in the annual exams.

Swimming
R1 300 for 9 weeks: Susan’s Swimming School – 2 lessons a week. The lessons are 30 min. each. Susan has enough experience to tell you that children who have had 2 lessons a week, learn to swim quicker. Thus you save money on the long term. 6 children are transported from the Nursery School. Susan is in the water with them and 2 persons are at her side for assistance. 2 people help them to get dressed and dry their hair. Stories are told to the others, until everyone is ready to go back to school.

Ruggakids
R130 per month: Our Rugby programme. Children learn the rules of the game from an early age. They also compete against other schools on Saturdays.

Little Chefs Artz
R145 per month: The children are taught to prepare and serve food in a creative manner. They also receive an apron and Chef’s hat. They learn about kitchen utensils and setting the table.
