Where are you situated?
We are situated in Roiihuiskraal Noord, 474 Theuns Van Niekerk ave.
When can I come to view the school, do I have to make an appointment?
We believe in an open door policy. You are welcome to visit the school anytime but it is always better to phone in advance as to make sure that somebody is available to guide you through our fantastic school and show you all our offerings.
What ages do you cater for?
We take babies from 3 month's old up till grR in the nursery school. We also have a primary school on the premises.
Is it safe for my child?
Wonderland enforces strict rules to ensure that nobody except authorised persons are allowed to pick up your child from school. In addition, we have effective access control to the school and no unknown or unauthorized persons are allowed on the school premises. Each parent gets a code for access to the gate. A CCTV is installed so that everyone that enters and leaves the premises is seen and monitored.
In addition, we are contracted to Copwatch for immediate response in case of any threat or incident.
Is the school multi-racial?
Wonderland accommodates children from all races, colours and creeds. The language of tuition is English, but Afrikaans, SeTswana and IsiZulu are also spoken.
How many children are there in a group?
We have a 1:15 teacher to child policy, which allows us to give each and every child focused, and individual attention. During Social Play groups will merge to allow the child to develop social skills within a big group.
Does Wonderland serve any meals?
Yes, we serve hot porridge in the morning and a cooked lunch which ranges from mince, vegetables and rice to fish fingers and chips. There is also a 10 and 3 o’clock snack.
What if my child has food allergies?
We have catered for children with food allergies and try our best to comply with their dietary needs where possible. Parents with children that have severe food allergies or religious preferences are required to provide their own food and supplements.
What time does the school open and close?
Doors open at 6:45am and closes at 17:30. Our program starts at 8:00 sharp and half-day children must be collected before or at 14:00.
